FAQs

How does an ESCo contract work for a municipality? +

The public body does not have to fund the works: New Energy designs, delivers and manages them and is paid from a share of the savings achieved. It is a model compatible with public budget constraints, allowing assets to be modernized without burdening municipal finances.

What qualifications do you hold for public tenders? +

SOA qualification in categories OG9 (power-generation plants, class III-bis) and OG1 (civil and industrial buildings, class II), UNI CEI 11352 ESCo certification and ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 50001 certified management systems.

Which funds and incentives can the public body use? +

The Conto Termico scheme for energy retrofits of public buildings, NRRP resources and the EU or regional funds active at the time of the works. New Energy identifies the applicable measures, checks their compatibility and handles the paperwork.

How long does a public-lighting LED relamping take? +

After the survey of lighting points and the design phase, the replacement is planned by zone and completed quickly, without interrupting the service. Consumption savings are immediate from the first month.

Do you also work on public residential housing? +

Yes: social housing, autonomous housing institutes, ATER and public housing stock in general, with measures on the envelope, heating systems, PV and storage. Lower running costs free up resources for citizen services.
