Energy as a cost

For many businesses energy is a cost they endure: it erodes margins and is exposed to market volatility. Self-production turns it into an asset you govern, locking in the cost of a share of your consumption for the next 20 years.

The New Energy solution

A turnkey system sized on your real consumption data — hourly profile, shifts, seasonality — to maximize self-consumption, with storage where it pays off. New Energy handles everything with in-house staff: analysis, design, administrative and financial paperwork, current incentives (hyper-depreciation, Transition 5.0), installation without stopping production, monitoring and support.

Benefits

  • Immediate, measurable energy savings
  • An investment with short-term payback
  • Freed-up resources that boost business competitiveness

FAQs

How much can a company save by installing a solar system? +

Savings depend above all on how much of the energy produced is consumed directly on site: the closer production and consumption overlap, the greater the benefit. For a business with mostly daytime loads, a correctly sized system covers a significant share of electricity needs, cutting grid purchases — and the bill — for many years.

How is the right system size determined? +

Not by the roof space available, but by real data: annual consumption, hourly profile, shifts, seasonality and time-of-use. The goal is the best balance between production and consumption, maximizing self-consumption and return on investment. That is why we always start from a free consumption analysis.

How quickly does a company recover the investment? +

Payback depends on system cost, expected production, self-consumption share, the price of avoided energy and any incentives available. That is why we prepare a business plan with annual savings, cash flows, break-even and long-term return, comparing different investment and financing scenarios where useful.

Which incentives can my company access? +

Depending on your case and on the schemes in force at the time of investment: hyper-depreciation, Transition 5.0 and other business-focused incentives. New Energy checks which measures apply to you and handles all administrative and financial paperwork.

What happens to the energy the company cannot self-consume? +

It is fed into the grid and remunerated under the applicable mechanisms. However, a self-consumed kWh is normally worth more than an exported one: good design therefore aims to maximize self-consumption, considering storage systems or load management where appropriate.

Does installation disrupt production? +

No: works are planned with your company to avoid interfering with production and are carried out by New Energy’s qualified in-house staff, with a single point of contact from survey to grid connection.
